Have you pondered if your life has only been fate, luck or has it all been random experiences? Why did you get placed in your family of origin? Why were you born as the gender you were? What is the real reason you were born at this time on the planet?Depending upon your perceptions to the answers you believe, you may go through life in a prison of fear and powerlessness carrying a belief that some Force outside of yourself holds the reins of which you have no control! Do you simply accept this to be true or might you have bought into a false sense of it all? I propose to you that the reality is you really do have the personal power to shift how your life experiences manifest when you co-create with Divine Source. Before you anticipate I am going to suggest you grab those reins and jump into CONTROL, know it is not about taking, but about surrendering control and attracting situations, people, places, things that align or match with your core values and intentions!
Destiny is not a random layer of experiences…it is actually a gathering of choices, decisions, actions, and self responsibilities that determine and mold who we really are and what we will experience in this thing called Life! Add to this recipe of ingredients, for me my whole adult life has always had the greatest Lightbulb moments during Autumn! You just may want to reflect on which is your season of AHA clarities.
For many years I carried a self-defeating ,victimized mentality. I truly believe those, which includes most of us, have had scars of unhealed aspects stemming from our original role models (family of origin, teachers, siblings, even culture and society). I know I had my own which disempowered me to believe I was a wounded animal and demonstrated to the world to be an aggressive doormat. Until I woke up from this unhappy , even controlling personality I offered partners, co workers, friends, and strangers I believed this was my lot of life. I cannot tell you the day or the month I sat straight up in my world and made a decision to live life on my terms but I did wake up and in my heart of hearts knew anything is possible! I remembered as a young child that life can be magical. Back then I really did see the evidence, but trauma and pain began darkening that truth…for quite a while. Upon my awakening as I crawled out of the cocoon of what was to become my metamorphosis, I knew my destiny was mine to shape and co-create with Divine Source. I also began seeing the evidence that inside my cocoon were still remnants of my chrysalis which actually was parts of my body!
The deeper I was willing to go in shaping my destiny and allowing the shift of consciousness of my own chrysalis which held my oldest core issues, this interesting awareness came! As I was on a journey of releasing, surrendering one by one my tightly held fears..fear of abandonment, fear of not being good enough, fear in intimate relationships I would lose my freedom of spirit, and fear I was fake and not really authentic ..underneath each of those fears a bigger piece which was actually my chrysalis body showing itself!! This was astounding to me to open and claim responsibility for! This piece was my total truth of who I really was all along..but hidden from me because I had to first uncover what had been layered on top of it . Not only was it hidden from myself but definitely I hid it from those who came in contact with me..bosses, siblings, parents, teachers, co workers, friends, therapists, coaches and lovers! One crucial piece of this pie of knowing my total truth of existence, of the Sacred Essence of me was to recognize and act upon how I authentically expressed my truth of my Essence in all settings with all people, holding nothing back from anyone! Being gut level honest, 100% willing had to be colored with pure vulnerability! I know that sounds scary and it has been but until I knew I wanted to take the deepest dive into the shadows of Plutonian energies I could only half way shape my destiny! Because I was co-creating my destiny with Divine Source and had made a Sacred Contract with that Divinity each step along this precious ladder of revelations more and more was revealed to me! I had become after quite a few years of doing this inner work the author, actor, and producer of my DESTINY!
Should you be wondering is this work worth it ? I assure you even though it is not for the faint-hearted every single strand of becoming who I see in the mirror which involved many deep dives into the ocean of the unknown was not only worth it, I know I deserved to make all the discoveries I have made, and now invite you who want to dig deeper on your own pathway to becoming partners with your destiny. Autumn always is the season where my awarenesses blossom into fruition. You may want to find which of the seasons is yours. The Ancient Civilizations of Egypt, Greece, Rome, Celtic, and others taught about the lessons and opportunities of each season. Many of us are returning to those teachings that mirror and expand Truth.
I want to share a few ideas and ways of my discoveries with you..just in case you are in the midst of wiggling out of your own cocoon…
- Know and understand with crystal clear vision who you desire to be. You get to make that choice. Look at what you are passionate about, what stands out in importance to you, and what evidence do you want to show yourself of what the authentic YOU looks like.
- Claim and embrace what circumstances, attitudes, and the players on the stage of your life you can change. Be realistic and do NOT even look at those things you cannot change. Know the only thing you really are capable of changing and shifting is your perception and mindset. How? Question yourself and the story you have been holding onto about who and what you are. Look at your limiting and self defeating beliefs about why you are the way you are and how you view the world . When you get gut level honest you are more likely to have light bulb epiphanies of these very things that have been the blocks preventing you from stepping into full power of your DESTINY.
- Release and stop living out of your past. Forgive every single person and situation you feel has hurt, tortured, and maimed you. The past is gone. It is only your repeated telling it to yourself and holding onto old pain when you label it as a source of harm. If you see your past as a set of positives that have created your strengths and assets , by all means view those portions of your life with gratitude.
- Decide the WHO you want to claim as your destiny in each of your relationships including that relationship that will last your whole lifetime…the one you have with yourself. Write it down on paper in the form of intentional action steps. Look closely at any patterns you are still using especially with your intimate partnerships, even those who you still after their physical deaths are continuing to engage in a partnership. Surrender, forgive, and alter as necessary.
Core principles to becoming the Master and Co-Creator of Our Destiny as I see it are
*Take responsibility and accept you and you alone are in charge of your choices. You are not a victim of circumstances or situations.
*Set clear and specific intentions you desire to achieve along with attainable actions as you identify your passions and know what motivates you.
*Create a practice of self mastery as you cultivate control over your internal world in frequent management of your mind, body, and emotions. Utilize mindfulness as you stick to your plan for personal, emotional, spiritual, and physical maintenance.
*View challenges as opportunities for your progress. Reflect on what did not work for you in the past not to beat up on yourself but to see what you could have done with a different mindset and use that to go forward in your life.
*Practice self discipline sandwiched with resilience. When obstacles show up or disappointment is experienced, do not allow it to stop you in your tracks .
*Be a flexible adjuster as situations and circumstances change.
*Create a web of positive support with those who honor and inspire you. Say “NO” in order to maintain what is a priority. Know what is valid for your progress and avoid people pleasing choices.
